Only Humen loves playing on Lake Ontario @ The Wilson Boat House It’s one of his favorite places to play because of the staff, the atmosphere, the incredible food, drinks and staging area. The tiki bar is fun and watching the yachts come and go gives you a feeling of tropical breezes and isles. Once you go there you will want to come again and again. We hope to see you there.

I’ll be shaking a tambourine and singing harmonies with Michael strumming the strings and singing the requests for our new friends.

This is just the beginning of a three band day out on their spacious patio. Only Humen leads it off at 11:30a-2:30p followed by Back To The Bars 3:30p-6:30p and The South City Band closes the show @ 7p-10p. A full day of merriment to pay homage to the labor force. Don’t miss it. A full day of great music.

We’re sharing the day with Jeremy Hoyle’s tribute band The Strictly Hip, an obvious tribute to Canada’s Tragically Hip. It’s gonna be a great day!

Yes it was Donnie Roy who hooked me up with Paul Swisher and Greg Opalinski to form from their seedling of a band called FRIENDS into a viable recording and stage unit called THE DOOLEYS and MPP. There have been a number of other Dooleys including myself, Donnie, Glen Colton, Tim Wright, Paul Weisenburger, Joe Mombrea, Mark Monaco, George Puleo and a host of others. I can’t remember them all. In 2022 they became BMHOF Inductees for which I am very proud because it was well deserved. We lost Donnie, our friend and bandmate much to young. RIP Donnie Roy. Don’t be late.

Of course with an outdoor show we gotta hope for no rain and semi pleasant weather. I’ll be tuning up my Takemine 6 string Acoustic Cool Tube guitar to rock this show. Looking forward to it. 49 Park Blvd.
