Co-founder, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, guitar, bass, piano, drum & vocal teacher, engineer, producer, studio owner, bookings, blah, blah, blah. Only Frank has been an Inductee of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame since 1991 when he won top pop bassist honors for a solid three years in a row and is a recipient of over 25 BMA awards. The band was inducted in 1995. His former bands include Jambo, Sky, and Lions before forming Only Humen in late 1986 with co-founder Ray Wood. He also worked with an acoustic original music act called ‘The Dooleys’ which in 2022 also went into the BMHOF. His musical influences vary widely, citing The Beatles, Todd Rundgren, and Mozart as the most influential. He is a group recipient of a coveted, revered EMMY Award, 2012 for the eight musical pieces he wrote for a PBS Documentary -”UNIFORM BETRAYAL: RAPE IN THE MILITARY” In his long career he’s had the opportunity to serve as opening act for such notables as The Little River Band, The Sweet, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Rare Earth, Head East; Joey Molland’s Badfinger, Triumph (3), The Marshall Tucker Band (2), Blake Shelton, Travis Tritt, The Kentucky Headhunters, The Association, Hermans Hermits (2), The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Mama’s and The Papa’s, Del Shannon, The Platters(2), The Drifters, The Coasters, The Marvelettes, Coco Montoya, Leslie West’s Mountain, Derek Trucks, The Dingoes(Australia), Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam and the twist king himself Chubby Checker to name a few.

Mark Gregory- Lead Guitar/Vocals Jeff is a guitar veteran and vocalist originally from Buffalo NY, and now resides in Rochester, NY. His high vocal harmony range makes him an easy candidate for harmony and lead singing a variety of songs, widening the song choices. His talent lends to performing a variety of different music, Including classic rock with yours truly ‘Only Humen’. Mark has directly supported notable national acts such as Doc Holliday and The Soul Survivors (Expressway to Your Heart) and others. He has a Master’s Degree in Music Education and two solo CD’s on Apple & Spotify. Former bands include Frank Beach and the Duke Street Kings, 33 West, Josie Waverly and Nik & The Nice Guys to name a few.

Johnny Panic- Drums/Good Time Drumming career started with the Hutch Tech Jazz band, leading to ‘Pirate Dreams’ a Jimmy Buffett tribute band; ‘Toby Live’ a country tribute to Toby Keith and others; ‘Strictly Hip’, a tribute to The Tragically Hip for 15 years and a plethora of fill in gigs in various bands over 35 years before hooking up with Only Humen. Johnny is the proud recipient of several awards most notably Best Rock Drummer in The Buffalo Music Awards 2014 and 2016 . Played various gigs all over the country. Night Life Magazine Achievement Award 2013. All this before succumbing the lure of Only Humen in 2022.

While Only Humen continues to look for a steady guitarist/singer, from time to time Only Humen employs several ‘fill-in’ guitar players, those being Dave Elder, Michael Hund, Chris Kozlowski, Mark Slimko, Jeffrey Young, to name a few.

Johnny Panic handles the drumming chores with ease but in a pinch, various “fill-in’ drummers are used periodically, those being Marty Raymondo, Al Hury, John Anderson, Andy Gugliazza and others.
